Golf in Spain - Costa del Sol
Spain has become one of, if not, the
most popular destinations for Golf holidays. It has many
championship courses and is home to the only desert golf
course in the world. On of Spain's most well-known
courses is Valderrama, which is said to be the best golf
course in Europe. Beautiful tree lined fairways and
immaculate greens give it the recognition it so deserves.
All the best players have played here and it was host to
the Ryder Cup in
1997.
Andalucia and in particular the Costa del Sol in one of the busiest areas in the world for Golf, in fact it has also been named the Costa del Golf, because of the number of excellent courses and clubs.
